This half day course examines the Gambling Act 2005. Local authorities are involved in the grant of premises licences for locations where gambling takes place as well as lower level gambling permits and local lotteries. This course details what amounts to gambling and then looks at the granting and possible action against premises licences. It also considers activities that do not require authorisations.
